What exactly does the €49 cover?

Does the price change by country?
No. €49 covers properties in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and all EU countries. EU Directive 2024/825 is the same law in every country, so the audit criteria are identical regardless of where your property is located.
What payment methods are accepted?
We use Paddle as our payment provider, which accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as PayPal in supported regions. Paddle handles all EU VAT automatically.
Is EU VAT included in the €49 price?
The price displayed is exclusive of local VAT where applicable. Paddle calculates and applies the correct VAT rate for your country automatically at checkout. If you have a valid VAT number you can enter it during checkout to zero-rate the transaction.
What if I'm not satisfied with the report?

When does ECGT enforcement start?
EU Directive 2024/825 (Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition) begins enforcement on 27 September 2026. It applies to any business marketing to EU consumers, including hospitality operators in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland targeting European tourists.
