Plain English summary: If the โ‚ฌ49 full report does not meet the standard described, email us within 7 days and we will refund you in full โ€” no questions asked. Implementation service deposits are non-refundable once work starts. Free scans have no charge, so no refund applies.

1 Full compliance report โ€” โ‚ฌ49

1.1 Refund window

We offer a 7-day full refund on the full compliance report (โ‚ฌ49) from the date of purchase. To be eligible, your refund request must be received within 7 calendar days of the payment confirmation email.

1.2 Eligible reasons for refund

We will issue a refund without question if:

  • The report was not delivered within 24 hours of payment confirmation
  • The report does not contain all the elements described in our pricing page (all violations, rewrites, evidence requirements, priority actions, PDF, and templates)
  • The report is technically incoherent or clearly contains AI-generated errors that make it unusable
  • You purchased the report for a URL that returned no content (e.g. a broken link or login-protected page) and we were unable to rescan

We may also issue a refund at our discretion in other circumstances where you are not satisfied, assessed on a case-by-case basis.

1.3 Non-refundable circumstances

We will not issue a refund if:

  • The 7-day window has passed
  • The report was delivered in full and meets the described standard, but you have changed your mind
  • You have already submitted the report URL to a regulator or published the report content
  • The refund request is for a report purchased more than once for the same URL

Note on digital content: By purchasing the full report, you acknowledge that it is digital content delivered immediately upon payment. Under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal may not apply to digital content once delivery has begun, where you have given prior consent. However, we voluntarily offer a 7-day refund as described above regardless of this provision.

2 Done-for-you implementation service (from โ‚ฌ450)

The implementation service involves custom written work produced specifically for your property.

  • 50% deposit โ€” charged before work commences. This deposit is non-refundable once we have begun writing or research work for your project.
  • 50% balance โ€” charged on delivery. If you are not satisfied with the delivered files, we will revise them once at no additional charge before the balance is due.
  • If we are unable to deliver within the agreed timeframe, your deposit will be refunded in full.

The specific scope, timeline, and payment terms for each implementation project are confirmed in writing by email before any charge is made.

3 Free scans

The free scan tier has no charge and therefore no refund is applicable.

4 How to request a refund

To request a refund for the full report, email us at hello@purplegiraffe.cc with:

  • Subject line: Refund request โ€” [your scan URL]
  • The email address used at purchase
  • Your scan ID (visible in the report URL: /audit/results/[your-scan-id])
  • A brief description of why the report did not meet the standard described

You do not need to return or delete the PDF โ€” we trust you to use it in good faith while awaiting the refund.

5 Refund process and timeline

Once we receive your refund request:

  • We will acknowledge receipt within 1 business day
  • We will review and approve or decline within 3 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear in your account within 5โ€“10 business days depending on your card issuer or payment method

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. We cannot process refunds to a different card or account.

6 EU consumer rights

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Nothing in this refund policy limits or overrides those rights.

In particular, EEA consumers have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant national consumer protection authority if they believe their consumer rights have not been upheld.
